not gunna lie, I've been driving my brothers 2006 M Roadster for a couple weeks as a daily. absolutely amazing car, and if you don't have traction control on, it will try to kill you.

yeah.. he said the vast kit was a good kit but its a knock off pretty much.. aquamist is the original, ya know.. so their newest stuff will be copied off of by everyone else i guess when patent rights allow so.. not sure how it works.. but he was all about aquamist.. yeah.. and the paitence factor is huge... this isnt some go cart 2 stroke engine overhaul you do in a weekend.. its been about 1 1/2 months down for me.. driving me insane.. and mike's build (jibberjive) has taken him much longer than that.. thats why i didnt even want to think about a GT build... my paitence is gone after this amount of time.. so.... ive got it all together and am waiting for my ross-tech cable so i can download EPL's file down on my ecu.. then i guess fire it up.. check all fluids and take her for a spin.. lol..

lol.. i had a customer a few years back that had an 03 M roadster with a vortech supercharger that i had to rebuild/reistall... i think it was the 240 bhp engine and no telling how much whp he had with the forced induction.. but yeah.. i just knew the rear end of the car was going to swing out in a straight line it was so scary... but i loved every second of test driving that beast...

god damn, that would be a frightening experience. yeah, that '03 would be the S52 engine with 240 hp. my bro's has the S54 with 333hp, and every time i hit the apex of a corner the traction control light comes on. i can't imagine what a supercharged S52 would be like through something similiar.

Search youtube bro, theres tons of twin 1 videos. Stock downpipes + twin, piggies + twin 1, full AWE turbo back, but this was my inspiration...

I was going to get the ASP downpipes because they looked super nice, and came with cats and test pipes, but when i saw these i changed my mind. I thought i was going to save a bunch of money for a comparable product.

Cost $950 for the downpipes and test pipe section, eventually ill get 034 to make me some pipes with cats as i have a feeling its going to be a little too loud (if there is such a thing) and im gonna have a hell of a time getting it inspected.

Arent the ASP pipes v-banded too? Meaning you can just get a piece of 3" pipe, weld a v-band clamp on one side and a neck down to 2.5 or 2.25 on the other end, then you can swap test pipes for cats in like 20 minutes whenever you want... thats what id like to do, no use cutting up your current mid pipes, just get some test-pipes and swap.
