Cost $950 for the downpipes and test pipe section, eventually ill get 034 to make me some pipes with cats as i have a feeling its going to be a little too loud (if there is such a thing) and im gonna have a hell of a time getting it inspected.

Arent the ASP pipes v-banded too? Meaning you can just get a piece of 3" pipe, weld a v-band clamp on one side and a neck down to 2.5 or 2.25 on the other end, then you can swap test pipes for cats in like 20 minutes whenever you want... thats what id like to do, no use cutting up your current mid pipes, just get some test-pipes and swap.
yep.. and to be honest.. i like your price too.. thats how much i paid for mine which were used.. v-band cats and all.. even though i dont need cats where i am.. so when you want them let me know and i have a good price waiting for you..

NO WAY! that would be awsome. let me know when you get your custom exhaust set up and well talk then. Id think regardless of manufacturer the bottom of the downpipes must be pretty similarly oriented

Ya ASP and 034 both use 3" v-band clamps, you might be able to contact someone at 034 i think theyre test pipes are $250, or an exhaust shop could probably look at your mid pipes with cats and make the test pipes pretty much the same just w/ out cats and for even cheaper.

PS something else came in the mail today, just the box for now, no money shots. Vast Stage 3 hybrid ceramic 6-puck on the way also . I think im becoming one of JHM's "regulars".....

the ER's look pretty sick, i couldnt help myself. Front mounts are great if your on a budget but i really didnt want to hack up my bumper, lose the fogs, and have pipes sticking out of the grills like some people. It can be done nicely, but its some work...id also want it painted all black. I like the sleeper status. If you get in a minor accident you also trash the intercooler, not so much with the ER's. They also hold their value GREAT, no problem to flip them and lose only $100-$200.

I was planning on water/meth initally.... With the ARD bipipes ill have the bungs all welded in and ready to go for next year if i so choose, but right now im gonna skip. I will be using stock manifolds, once im ***** deep in the engine bay i might ship em off to VAST for a p'n'p and ceramic coating. Im not sure yet though, one of the things im flip floping on...

I really should be starting any day but i work 70+ hours and 7 days a week so i havent had the time. I just keep working, cashing checks, and buying parts. My goal was august 1st, who knows though.
