Default My avant build

I don't normally do these build threads because they take so much damn time and because you always have to go and take pictures as things are going in and you have to update all the time.. ugh. Well I promised a friend that I would make a thread on my car so here it is.

The list of mods expected as for now:
before break-in
The VAST/ARD 1000hp kit (just to simplify things) which is gt2868 hta Center-sections tial Vband housing. 3" downpipes etc aka guruman killa setup []
The VAST custom twin disk clutch, said able to handle 1000AWftlbs and 1000AWHP
An APB engine stroked and bored to 3.04 liters with Eurospec girdle installed by Pande's Performance, with custom pistons by Pande's Performance, Lightning Performance group, Diamond pistons design to ensure no oil consumption and gives the most amount of material between the top of the piston and the first compression ring. Also I am using Pauter rods in this build.
CNC ported 2.7L heads by Roush with 2.8L cams (for now), that were flow benched and re-ported, with supertech valvesprings, retainers oversized titanium valves.
Rebuilt tranny custom 1 and 2 + full rebuild kit. I can take pictures of the gears but they don't look that different other than being shot pinned and cryo treated.
For now on break in only I am using stock intercoolers, stock injectors, RS4 fuel pump (already in the car) stock ported to match intake manifold with phenolic spacers (going onto the silver car when swapped off after break-in)
After break-in
An Aluminum sheet metal intake by Pande's performance and Roush CAD designed along side the heads to ensure velocity and optimal CFM. (no pictures yet because this was back at roush and I didn't have time to get there)
An out of tank pump fuel system with 10- braided fuel lines, also with custom by Pande's Performance fuel rails.
I am planning on doing a collaborative air to air, water to air set up so that I can have the best of both worlds, the only problem is I am still looking for sidemounts. If I don't find any I will just have Pande make a set. I have called other companies but they have not called me back on their custom sidemounts...
Anyways the next step is the
Excel DFI gen 9 Standalone.
A digital MSD distributor and MSD wires to replace the ICM's and Coilpacks (for increased spark and control of the spark).
I'm eliminating the inlet system and we are in the midst of making a heat shield setup so we can just have filters on the turbos, if that doesn't work we will try something else but I am trying to eliminate all of the usless tubing that I won't need now that I'm not using a MAF, just a speed density MAP sensor.
Mental Custom engine mount brakets
TBD list:
Fuel pump and injectors
Size of the Throttle body
The size of the custom Bi-pipes
Intercoolers
Nitrous?
Meth? I'm aware its not a good idea to do both.
Skyline Rear diff? maybe
custom axels, custom drive train mounts if needed.
Aluminum drive shaft from Scotty?
Goals:
9 sec ET and 150's mph trap in the 1/4 mile
mid-low 5sec 60-130
200mph in the standing mile
as reliable as possible to make trips to FL and back.
if these turbos don't yield the power I'd like then switch them off. The beauty of V-band is the engine doesn't have to come out.

I owe a lot to Pande at Pande's performance he keeps me grounded and keeps me from owing more money than I already do. His website is down right now and it will be back up in a little bit.

The engineers at Roush for all of their hard work with Pande

The boys at VAST especially prince for getting me the kit and following up No hard feelings, all love for them.

To the two best offshore engine builders in the business. Keith Eikert and Mike Diannabell

To Papa Coe for fronting the cash when I ran out, and letting me pay him back (I've paid him back on all the other builds, cash up front gets the project done faster) 1/2 paid off on the parts so far... just picked up a 2nd job last week.

To my brother hunter for helping me out and driving my shizzle around when I couldn't. Everytime he has my car he clay-bars it and waxes it. Best big brother I could ever have.

To Coe Press Equiptment Corporation for giving us the chance to front cash. Coe Press Equiptment has been feeding the Industry for over 30 years.
Disclaimer:
I will not have the answer to everyone's questions, I will not always be able to immediately update this thread. You can comment on my mistakes or mis quotes but please do not ***** or troll this thread unless its guru because I already started the smack talk (I'm trying to keep swearing out of this thread as well). I also am intitled to not give every detail of pandes work because he has a right to have his trade secrets and I have no right to tell them. If you want his secrets you have to pay for them. The same goes for VAST performance and everyone else involved in this build.

Enjoy the pictures, and Let the thread begin!

You know, you start reading a thread like this and you're think..."Yeah. Sure. Whatever. Get a load of this guy. Cool story Bro." And then you continue reading and start thinking "Holy fnck! This guy is serious!" Then you see the pics and you think "My GOD! EPIC!"

Bravo to you sir. Excellent build. Looks amazing. I, however, am with huffman, INSANELY jealous.

This is absolutely insane and I love it. Plans to track it when you're done? Maybe hit up some of the drag strips? I'd love to come out and see this beast run. (I'm also from michigan)
