So here is a weird one. So a couple weeks ago I had to drive my old neighbors kids to get a movie. I started the car and was reversing out of my driveway when I saw my Airbag light flash on. So I thought to myself, "S*%T! just what I needed". On the way to getting the movie I remebered the AutoZone across the street so we stopped in there to get the codes checked. NONE! there were no codes running. After I dropped them off and had a beer with a friend, I got in the car (sober by the way), cranked her up and the light was gone. So I was pretty happy. Well the other day I had to pick up 3 of my drunk friends from downtown and they all piled in the back seats. (it was hilarious because 3 big guys in such a small cramped space) Left the parking lot and the light came on and the car was running the whole time. So I drew a conclusion that it had something to do with weight on the back seats. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

All that aside, I will be getting some more mula soon for stringing racquets and I will have about $1500 to spend. What are your guys opinions? Here is what is on my list of upgrades:
Exhaust (would like ASP, but dont feel like spending a grand and yes I saw the $275 turbo backs)
DTS
JHM shortshifter
Replica B7 Rims Gunmetal (Hell YEAH)
Aluminum interior
Possibly vent boost gauge (already have boost gauge from blitz DCC)
????????

P.S-I am going to reupholster my interior over my brak, will take pics if you guys are interested.

 

Iv never heard of the airbag light thing thats weird. Hopefully someone else has some info on that.

As far as upgrades, are you chipped? I dont see anything in your sig... That could be a nice way to spend some money. Your list looks pretty good right now though.
Personally I would take the piggies and ASP over SSAC turboback, but thats just me. DTS and shifter are both great mods too, in my opinion. Id go ASP exhaust then JHM shifter and see where you are with money. Maybe take a lady friend out to a nice dinner....

 

yeah sorry HP, I have a ton of stuff that is not in my sig. I actually am chipped, actually flashed. I am going to take it to an APR dealer near my house tomorrow for them to see if I am. I took the ecu apart but it still has the stock chip there, but the only way I know I am is because I am boosting at about 20 psi! I am going to be installing my MBC I got from VAST to stop my spikes and limit my boost to 18 or 19psi. I also have piggies sitting at my house which are going to be installed within the week. And I am totally with you on the piggies + ASP exhaust, its sounds amazing. Thanks for the response HP

Hope fully someone has heard of the air bag thing, maybe 2k. but i agree, i have never heard of it, its very weird.

 

Probably one of the rear seat tensioners. came on in my car too. no big deal.

Im not sure. I was told not to worry about it and to just have the person jiggle their seatbelt until the light goes away. I donno if you have the same problem though. you would need the code. and I think the part that is worn is the part that you put the actual Belt into.
I think it is the part that locks the belt down into the clicker...if that makes sense. if you can ever snag that code, let me know.
