Default New Idea for Intake Modification

After installing the S-Flo, I had a few ideas for modifying the intake further and was wondering if anyone else had done it or thought about doing it...there's the plastic snorkel that takes air in from the front. If you look into it from the opposite end after disconnecting the middle piece, there looks like a cross-shaped baffle inside. Cutting this out would reduce restriction and allow for more air to be taken in. The same idea goes for the piece that the middle plastic intake fits into on the airbox itself. If you look at it from above, you can see two plastic baffles. I was wondering if cutting out the baffles from both these places would make any difference, even if it was slight. The only problem I can think of through doing it would be losing the effect of channeling or directing the air into the box....what's everyone else's thoughts on this?

Unless your making around 400hp leave your air box alone.
