so my audi symbol and the s4 symbol were taken off for paint, id like to put them back on any tips for this, I assume double sided tape? also any tips for lining it up or should i just eyeball it?

 

3m clear double sided tape. that stuff has a crazy strong hold.

Get someone to take measurements for you of there emblems, simple

 

normaly you dont reuse the badges, they sell them new at the dealer and on ebay for pretty cheap. When you get a new one it comes with the 3M sticky backing you just peel and stick. For placement measure someone elses badges, the S4 is 2 pieces but if you buy it new they are held together so they are spaced and lined up right when you put them on.

You can still use your old ones and buy new tape though just my .02$

 

I saw the dealer putting new ones on mine cause I had them replaced when I accidentally took the clear coat off of them and they had the 3m tape on them as well as very small circular magnets cut into the back of them in the centers. Try to get those, two methods of holding on are better than one.

 

I dont think mine have magnets but iv had 3 sets of badges on my car now, i go through impulsive debadging and rebadgeing. Got all mine from ebay...
