Default Questions on Wheel Offset

I bought some HP Evo wheels online. I talked to the distributor and he said they would fit my car. When they arrived it says the offset is 31. How will this work out if stock offset is 35?Just spacers? If so do they make hubcentric spacers this small?

Wheels are 18x8. I went with 235/40/18 for rubber. It is not lowered yet, but if it is sitting like a monster truck after the new wheels/tires go on I am going to be getting coilovers.

If I need spacers, do they make hubcentric spacers this small?

Try it, offset will change with rim size & type. They may fit fine, or you may need a small spacer.

YEah..you might need a spacer... Offset is wheel dependent..but thats pretty low on the S for offset...

also, stock offset is like 42 i thought?

yes stock is up in the 40 range for sure. Usually with 18" wheels anything between 33-38 will fit ok, 31 is a bit too low and you might need spacers. If the wheels were "gauranteed" to fit your car when you bought them, and they dont fit when you get them, then you should be able to give them back free of charge since they lied to you. If you bought it from a private owner, then you will have to make due
