yeah my friends car same set up as me for stage 3 only difference is he has a w/m system and he slowly pulls on me and run way cooler intake temps, I need a i/c mister or w/m injector system.

Didn't someone just totally hose their 2.7 and tie the failure back to the w/m kit they had installed?

I've been a little skeptical after reading through that thread. The pictures of the heads and cylinders made me want to cry.

Yeah that was me. LOL

One of the nozzles was installed backwards and a screen thing fell off and went through the engine thus bending a valve.

Ahh, I see. I was going to say, I thought I remember seeing your avatar A LOT in that thread lol.

Anyway, so you've got it rebuilt and have the w/m kit running again? Do you think the w/m kit caused any other issues, other than the screen getting sucked into the engine?

Also, I thought you were going to sell your car after all that. What did you end up having to do/fix, how much did it cost? Sorry to be nosy, I'm just curious.

No problem...

Yeah it's rebuilt and running again and I am using the w/m kit again. I don't think it caused any other problems. Just the bent valve which caused all the other problems. LOL. I was planning on it but the way the market is right now in my area I wouldn't be able to get even close to what I paid for it out of it again so I am going to hang onto it for a while... plus now that it runs again it's a freaking monster! HAHA

For the fix the shop took the passenger side head off and replaced the bent valve. I also had them do the timing belt and all that fun stuff. Ended up being $1500.

Dude, that's a damn good price for having all that work done. They hook you up or is that their normal price?
