1.8t > 2.8 from a tuning perspective.

 

Why don't you build a 1.8t? Give it some rods, pistons, aeb head and a 3076...

It will be a whole lot faster than a 2.8 supercharger.

 

Like deb said. The 1.8 parts are pretty cheap now a days. If I were you build the motor with forged internals, a new clutch, and a phat GT28. Youll be well over 300hp and and it will be about the same price as that supercharger.
