Does anyone know where this sensor is and how to get at it? The VAG software is showing an intermittent fault on this sensor and performance seems to be up and down. Would to check if it is just a bad connection or something before taking the car to a dealer. </P>

should be on the cat close the where it connects to turbo.....at least thats where it is on my a4.....as for the problem check the connection and if nothing is awry talk to the dealers mechanic before letting them have it...unless your still under warranty

 

Cheers rpacobra, I'll have a look tonight. Do not have dealer warranty and if it is easy enough then I'll change it myself, will check connections etc first though.

 

looks like a break in the wire between sensor and module bolted ontot the block. New sensor is £150 ($250 roughly). Time to do some re-wiring......thanks for the advice.
