Exhaust Gas Temp. Sensor.

I have an Exhaust gas temp. sensor fault (intermittent) And It is looking good today. no snow, or filth on the road. would It be bad for me to take it to school? 60-70 miles round trip?

I drove mine for a month before changing it. Don`t put it off too long but yea its ok to drive. This is what I was told by anAudi tech.
