Are the crankshaft and engine speed sensors the same parts on a 1995 S6. I do know they are located just inches from eachother, but when i got the car it wasn't running, and the speed sensor was one of the parts that was replaced. it turns out today that when i looked at the reciept, it said that the part sent was a crankshaft sensor. this was put in at the speed sensor. any help would be appreciatated..........
