Default Serious & Mysterious Concern

I've read all the posts on cv's and whatnot, in fact, I just had one replaced...however! I am hearing a distinct clicking noise from the passenger side front wheel well when turning left...parking, slow uturns, etc...also...maybe i'm paranoid and stupid, but the car isn't handling so well at higher speeds (feels kinda unstable and more like a lincoln towncar)...mechanic said everything looked fine and was clueless...I'm thinkin maybe its the cv joint/axle?...a wheel bearing? I'm crazy?...anyone have any experience with a similar problem, please advise...sorry for the long post..i appreciate any help...
