What are your guys shifting patterens for different drivng? Say when your driving slow taking it easy saving fuel, what rpms are you usually shifting at? Im still new to this car but I love the tourqe it brings and can get pretty lazy on the shifts

when im taking it easy i can uually keep it under 2800 somtimes at just 2k and able to dipp to 1600 without gearing down, usually 3rd gear up to 35mph and then up to 4th for 35-45mph.

When having fun and not commuting in traffic i usually shift up on every gear except 5th at about 4300-4800, i ride 5th gear a little higher if duty calls.

what kind of shifting are you guys doing?

 

I cruise around 1500rpm's, but I got a tip.

 

im cruising around in 3rd/4th taking turns in 2nd....
freeway - Im rarely in 6th...
easy driving shifting @ about 3k

 

Just tooling around town or when cold, shift around 2500-2800. When im engaged in some "spirited" driving, usually shift around 6-6300. It revs out at 7300, why not wind it up?

 

I do about the same as coop. It seems that you got to let everything warm up before getting on ot. So keep it around 3 grand until its good and ready then let'er rip. i usually twist it out to around 5500 to 6000 when having fun.

 

when i'm cruisin i shift around 2500-2800 rpm, when i wanna conserve on gas i usually shift around 2200-2300 rpm. spirited driving gets me up to 6000 rpm, I don't take it too much past that (max 6500 rpm).
I cruise at about 2500 rpm, which is great on gas and gives enough go when acceleration is needed.
