I'm new to this fourm and I have a 2004 b6 s4 and i was just wondering if anyone has a speed tuning chip installed in their b6 and why they would or would not recomend it. It just seems too good to be true to have a 24hp gain with no problems with a 300 dollar chip...

 

Pretty sure JETSPEED has it. IDK for sure though.

yeah, I am sure he has that with no problems, I would get exhaust before the chip will help out alot more.

 

24hp doesn't mean you're going to have more problems, in fact, with a NA engine, 24hp gain from a chip prolly won't affect reliability at all.

However, I have to agree with readimag. Exhaust on an NA engine is prolly more worth the $$ than the chip.

 

Well first before anything im getting the awe full exhaust system, is it a good idea to put a chip, speedtuning or i was thinking power chip in with the exhaust i mean should i do something else to make sure my engine doesnt burn up or something.
