Hi, I've got a 2000 S4 B5 with 75000 miles on it. Is it still worth upgrading the turbos? I would really like to do this within a year, but for future longevity of the engine, I don't know if the engine will hold out for another few years because new turbos might equal out to more wear and tear. Also, what else do most people replace under the hood and what things don't usually need to be replaced? any help would be great!

 

kinda high miles to start putting money in it. But once u start upgrading, u cant stop. And it gets very pricey. I would be happy with a stock S4 anyday

 

i would wait for them to go then replace them with the K04s. I dont think the engine will fail. The 2.8 is very reliable and that where the 2.7T came from. So i think the only weak point is the turbos. Put the K04s in and teh problem is solved.
