Default timing belt work

can ne recommend a good mechanic shop in the KCK or KCMO area for me to get the scheduled timing belt maintence done. I'am in lawrence ks and there is not a mechanic here i would trust. I was just goin g to take it to the dealership but i have not had good experiences in the past. Since the dealership i bought my s4 from is now being sued for almost 2 mil in embezzled cash. A good shop with experienced, honest, audi kn owing mechanics, who throw fair prices is what i'am lookin for. I know im lookin around 600-1k in labor, should this include parts too which are around 300. what have been some previos experiences with this maintence for some other owners who have taken it to a shop

Default RE: timing belt work

you are looking at about 1500(iirc) including parts....... there are alot of diy's and you should be able to get the kit for no more than about 300ish....... if not, i would look for an audi/vag dealer around that area..... might get on audiworld and see who is in the kc area and what they recommend

i am pretty sure there is a local audi club up there
