I will enthusiastically second any rec for the AWE Twin 1 - what an awesomw exhaust! I loved my old Apexi muffler (even though others didn't always feel the same about it) - it looked great IMO and sounded great - burbly and good WOT sound...but the Twin 1 is better in almost every respect (I still like and miss the big coffee can look though - what can I say...) Anyway I would say that I have noticed some seat of the pants performance gains...and yes the exhaust is much lighter then stock - much - having recently hefted both I can assure you that this is true - the old stock underneath muffler is way heavy. Anyway - performance....I find that my mid range comes on harder - it feels muchtorquier- but the power ends up being more linear - where before it seemed thinner in the middle with a big explosion as the revs climbed. I would defitinely say it is just a bit quicker now - and the sound is deeper and throatier then before (and very loud at WOT or even at partial throttle) - though very quiet just cruising along. I would say at least a 10hp gain - and with noticible performance due to (IMO) more power under the torque curve throughout the rev band. Like I said its noticibly more linear delivery - comes on stouter sooner - where before the power would more explode as the revs incleased. Now it just keeps comming. I haven't tracked my boost well enough since I got the exhaust to notice any difference there - except that it seems I have slightly more power with less boost in non WOT conditions. Anyway I have no hesitation recommending the Twin 1...and I would think it might flow better and give a bit more power then the Twin 2 - but don't know if it would be too noticible. Anyway - its certainly better then stock...and yeah - those twin tips do look sharp (and are less likley to scrape then my old coffee can Apexi...RIP - which hung low enough to do so on occasion- actually didn't hang lower - it was just massive)

I've heard the ASP and I really like it as well - it seems a bit rawer and raspier then the AWE - whcih seems more bassy (but wails pretty good). They have somewhat similar notes though - can't go wrong with either I imagine - both very high quality - very free flow products. For some reason though the Twin 1 seems a bit less burbbly then my old exhaust (shame cus I absolutly love that sound!)...

I had a Z28 with an SLP Loudmouth, next to straight pipes, probably one of the loudest catbacks for Camaro's. loved it, I actually coulda handle it louder. So i think the twin2 would not suit me and a twin1 will do that trick, then get some DP's later on... yeah...

Should I do the CB or chip and bipipe first?

Chip is about the easiest mod you can make...could effect your K03 turbo life however...just a caution there...exhuast seems worthwhile too - but biggest bang for the buck has got to be the easy chipping IMO.
