V1 issue

V1 issue
I wired my Valentine V1 according to these directions on my B7 S4. http://home.comcast.net/~carson0627/V1/Howtov1.htm
After the install, my V1 wouldn't turn. When I would try to turn it on it would make the hazards illuminate.
Any suggestions?
