I'm looking to replace all my vacuum lines and need to know a good brand/size to buy. Does silicon hosing hold up to cleaners and oils. By the foot is fine but I just can't seem to come up with any decent options from searches.

Also has anybody tried to make their own hard pipe IC piping. I'm dropping the clutch fan when I do the timing belt so I'll have some extra room and hate the design of the stock piping and boot. Like the RS4 but a DIY low cost alternative.

7mm ID, 13mm OD i believe. its like $2.50 a foot. youll prob need around 12 feet.
