I have a 2004 S4 Cab and I am having an odd situation with my throttle. When at low throttle, occasionally the throttle will cut out and I have to let the gas off to get it back.

So, scenario is this: I am accelerating slowly (think 10%) throttle and the throttle cuts and I can push it to the floor with nothing. If I let off the gas, it will come back just fine. I know one way to fix is just drive fast all the time, but you know

Also, (I am thinking this may be related), there is a .5-1 second delay from when I hit the gas to when the engine responds.

General guesses:
Throttle body
something with the pedal itself

Has anyone else seen and diagnosed this?
