Default Audi s4 b5 (Weird engine bay noise)

Just bought a 2000 audi s4 b5. It has 109k miles on it. Bought it in chicago and it checked out to be running fine and everything. I got it home from the 150 mile drive, and it was still running fine and all. I drove it to work and after work, it started making this weird noise (Almost like a exhaust leak) but its not coming from underneath the car. So I opened up the hood and the noise seems to be coming right behind the engine. The engine itself seems to be running fine and I dont hear any weird leaks or anything else besides that noise. Any ideas of what this could be? When I bought it, the check engine light was being thrown because of a loose EGT sensor. Is it possible this could've popped out and is causing this exhaust noise? Let me know what your ideas are.

Thanks

do you currently have a check engine light on? it could be a broken spider hose or some sort of boost/vaccuum leak. do a boost leak test.
