Hi all, I’m looking at a 2002 S6 and I’m get conflicting compression test results between two reputable European import shops. The car has high miles (over 100K but under 200K) and both shop specialize in Audi, Porsche and VW. I don’t want to give to much info, because I would like an open opinion and maybe details on how a compression test should be preformed and what the number should be on this model. How low is to low?

 

Hello from Finland. I made a little bit digging in Finland Audi Club forum and one guy with the S6 2000-model had measured following values (kg/cm²):

11.9 11.0
11.8 10.6
11.6 11.0
10.2 10.5
