I never driven the V6, but have driven the V8, and I was impressed. It revs high, and is very quick. Of course though, it doesn't have a stick or a manu-matic option. And you have to look out the the welds on the cam gear breaking.

I tested an LSV8 with the manual when I was car shopping and it was the *****. Way fun! But, RWD + snow + me = instant death for all involved.

Yeah, I was really surprised that the LS had a manual transmission available. It shifts nice, the clutch wasn't too heavy, and felt a lot like a BMW or Audi transmission. With that coupled to the V8 engine, it felt wonderful. I didn't drive it very hard (damn salesmen [:@]) but it felt like it really wanted to run.

I think the only cars worth buying are Buicks their very reliable! what gained my respect for them was a Grand National Beating an AUDI S4 aniversary car i seen it on youtube. Chrysler is crap my car went bad with only 135,000 and ford well their okay. But i like Audi and Buick the same

fords suck. my family bought a ford and it broke after 80,000 miles and ford refused to fix it even tho it was under waranty. i have had a 1986 bmw(330i) and it has 280,000 miles on it. andit has its fair share of problems but it still runs. the ford was totalled

I had a Contour SVT that I loved dearly. Had one of the best sounding engines. But it had a ton of problems and I am loving my A4 without any issues.

I'm not a big fan of Ford, but I do like the new Mustang, A LOT. It's funny how Ford gets bashed overseas, especially in the UK. SVO/SVT has come out with plenty of heavy hitters. A friend of mine still drives his Mustang SVT/SVO? everyday, no issues. A few bolt on mods has his little four banger screaming all day everyday. No reliability issues. Check all of the turbo'ed Mustang street thumpers, routinely making 600+RWHP on pump gas, no break downs, daily drivers. Prehistoric engine design, still smashing heads. One thing I have to admit, a lot of older fords = electrical gremlins.
