I have a 1998 a4 I have always had a wierd vibration from my front right. Caused premature shock ware, and control arms both went out first on that front right, replaced shocks and control arms and problem went away, but then I put some 18s on there and sure enough when I acelerate its got a vibration in that front right and it smoths out after I let out of the gas ,and let it coast for a wile its not nearly as bad as it was, but im sure its only a matter of time and it doesent do it all the time and it doesent do it at all with my stock wheels and tires but like I said its only a matter of time, help please!

 

i have 17's and if you stick ur hand in between your wheel and your control arm/ suspension you will notice that they are very close together. my 17's are about 2-4 mm away from touching the control arms. with ur 18's and bigger tires, im guessing ur tires are rubbing or hitting ur control arms. you might need wheel spacers
