Hello Ladies and Gents,

I am new to the forum and hope to get some reviews. I have an 05' A8L that is having some suspension "issues". The car has just under 100k miles and the dealer says it needs new front bags and possibly a new pump...basically $7k in damages.

I want to know if anyone has used the eibach air spring conversion kit from AmericanAirSuspension, or a similar kit from a vender.

I tried searching, but came up with nothing. I know I will have to put some money into the car, but I don't think 7k is going to happen.

Please let me know pros, cons, etc.

What are the issues? If you explain this maybe some of the experts can save you 7k, as it sounds like you have a scam artist for a mechanic. Is your 05 the older or newer body style? I believe they came out with the new body style in late 05 so I have seen both styles in the 05 model. I thought the newer generation A8s had the suspension issues all worked out. Yeah these older A8s are like owning a boat. Money pits for sure. The two best days of owning an A8 is the day you buy it, and the day you sell it!
