I need need control arms for 2000 a6 quattro. There are a ton of after market suppliers with prices all over the place. Can anyone reccomend a good supplier that they have had experience with?

I'm just fumbling around through the forums and stumbled across your post from a few months ago. Where you posted your question is a relatively dead area, which is why you didn't get any responses.

As for your question, FCP Euro (Genuine & OEM European Car Parts | BMW Volvo Audi VW Mercedes Saab) should have a complete control arm set for your car, including hardware, for about $300 bucks. Many of the members here with older cars have used them with great satisfaction. I put a set on my old A4 a few years ago and they were still working great when I sold the car last year. I plan to use them again for my current car in the near future.

Well hell, it was worth a try! and it looks like you even spelled your french correctly.

back to suspension...I just ordered the upper set and tie rods from FCP for mine. Now I need to find the mount that bolts to the body and carries the spring etc. for the passenger side, mine actually has wire holding the front side upper control arm in place. So far used parts on ebay is all I can find. I know I can get it from the dealer but $$.
