Knocking noise on front suspension

Knocking noise on front suspension
I have a 2006 A8 3.0Tdi with about 270 000km. Recently it has started to have a knocking noise as if something is loose, on the front suspension, mainly on the right hand side when I drive over an uneven surface. Does anyone knows what might be the cause of this problem and how to fix it?
