Anyone parting out a car can sell you the spring. The important part is to get one from a car with the same drivetrain as yours (ie, 1.8T quattro, 2.8 30v tiptronic, etc). Do that and you should be fine.

As for install, swapping springs is kind of involved and requires some special tools. Having air tools is a huge plus as well. If you don't have spring compressors, you can buy them at a parts store. Doing it with a ratchet is going to take a LOT of time, and honestly if you haven't done them before, you really should do them alongside someone who has done them before - doing it wrong can literally kill you.

Where do you live? If you're in reach of NY along the PA border, come up and I'll swap it for you.
