VAG-COM (*New* section) Need some help with a VAG-COM? Have some good advice to offer others using a VAG-COM?

No, my radio is stock... I can also access the HVAC Module... I've tried re-installing VagCom and this still happens...

This is perplexing... I really need your help guys, I've sifted through the forums but I cannot find a suitable answer for my problem...

Have you tried it while the car is running instead of just 1st position?

thats not a vagcom problem, its a problem with your car. the ABS module failing could interfere with the OBD port the same way an aftermarket ratio can. either unplug the module and see if you can scan again, or go to autozone and see if their generic scanner can see it.

Any special precautions I should take before unplugging the ABS Module? (Like disconnecting the battery before I do it)? And my car is undriveable (Reason why I need to get into the ECU to find out) So I can't make it to autozone to see...

YES!!! Issue solved, Ghost6303 was right... My ABS Module was conflicting with the ECU and would lock me out... All I had to do was unplug the ABSM and I got in like magic... Thank you very much!!!
