2005 Audi S4 Vibration problems
Hello everyone, I am at wits end with this Audi. It is a 2005 (not 2005.5), I bought it used with 133k on it. The car vibrates at the steering wheel and at the seat. I've put new Proxies 4 tires on the stock 18 inch rims, Had the rims looked at, two were bent, had them straightened. I've replaced the upper, lower control arms in the front, the swaybar links, Rear shocks, rotors and brakes on all 4. I've had 3 alignments and 2 tire balances done. Yesterday I had a Road force balance done and it STILL vibrates enough between 65-85 MPH to shake a water bottle in the dashboard drink holder.
The bolt holes on the rims are not oblong and the center hole is snug when mounted to the car. The Wheel bearings are tight.
One thing I have noticed is when traveling at around 30-40 MPH and I turn the wheel left/right sharp and rapidly, the front right tire seems like it gets "confused" and feels like it turns the opposite way. I've been told that the steering is computer controlled and that is normal.
Has anyone had a similar experience with their Audi or know of other things that may cause this vibration?
Your expertise and ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thank you!
