Winter tire shakedown
Hey everyone,
so I got some Hankook Ice Bears installed on the OE rims of my '06 S4 Avant (235/55 R18) recently. I got them because the guy who services my car also drives an '06 S4 and recommended them. All in all I'm extremely happy with them.
That said, for some reason, and only occasionally, the whole car shakes violently once I hit 100 kmh/60 mph (on clear, dry freeways). It's not everyday that this happens. I'm guessing that after driving in snow, it (the snow) gets caught up in the rims and throws the wheels off balance?
I'll be getting all four rims re-balanced over the next couple of days, but in the mean time has anyone else experienced this before?
Cheers!
