2008 Audi A3 URGENT PROBLEM
I went to get in my car today to go for a drive. I realized that a) the window buttons on the driver side door are not working b) the light on the panel for windows/mirror adjust does not come on even with the nigh time lights on c) The trunk release and Gas tank release buttons do not work d) the driver side front and back doors do no lock when I press the lock button on the key. I checked the fuses with a fuse checker and all are fine as far as I know I checked the mini fuses and regular sized ones but could not check the 5 biggers ones in the engine compartment. I know there is a gas flap release in the trunk, but I just want to know what could be the problem.

A3 help
I'd check relays. if you know where they are ? I don't. do some searching and find out if one of the relays is common to those things that stopped working. then mess with the relay. tap on it. try turning the ignition on and off slowly with your hand on the relay. you should feel a click unless they are solid state now. don't know for sure. if no click, I'd SHUT OFF the ignition and unplug it. clean up the terminals and plug it back in. also could be a common ground wire to those components. Check to make sure you don't need to disconnect the battery to pull the relay. I don't know for sure. Sometimes disconnecting the battery can cause a number of problems so I try not to do that or let it go dead. things sometimes need to be reprogrammed after a battery outage. good luck.
