Default A3 radio questions

I have a 2009 A3 with the double DIN concert radio. It is the one with the large screen, three buttons on each side....

I have a couple question now that I have had the car for a few weeks.

1) it changes screens at about 45 seconds after a button is pressed. in order to change a station after this point I need to hit the button twice... once to get to the main screen then once to change the station.

Please tell me there is a way to turn this off. I have heard it described as a screen saver but I cannot believe it is. For one thing, the "SR1" (satellite radio 1) tag appears on the top of the screen saver and it does not burn into the screen... so whats to save?

2) I had gotten used to being able to see a whole title in my other cars satellite system... it would scroll twice then display the start of the title.

Is there a way to get the audi to scroll the title when it is too long for the screen?

thanks

Sorry if this is not appropriate for A3 forum... I could not find a better one.

cmercernewyork,

I bought a new 2012 A3 and I noticed the same things you mentioned... have to hit the buttons twice to select a radio station preset, and the song title does not scroll. I too would love to know if this can be changed.
