If your under 12k then the rattle is covered, report the shop that refuses to do the work.

I argue that rattles are covered for 4 years, 50,000 miles. If I'm wrong, please point out where, I'm dying to know.

Take it up with audi of north america, i feel ya bro, they should cover all that s***. They used to cover all of that stuff up till 50k, but they take forever to diagnose and dealers don't wanna mess with em.

I am also going to agree that it depends on the dealer. My dealer's service dept. has been super nice about this kind of stuff. Last time I was in for service I mentioned that the passenger door panel was rattling. They took care of it with no complaints. They also rotated my tires free of charge, which is not included in the maintenance plan.

I'll chime in and agree that it varies from dealership.

I had a PCV hose burst on my CPOc230. Took it in, took care of it, no charge. under CPO Warranty. A buddy of mine with a CPO C230 had the same house burst. Took to his local dealer... They charged him over $550... for a $12 hose. The rest is labor. Told him to raise hell, but the dealer only agreed to meet him halfway.
