disable bose auto volume?

is there a way to disable the bose auto volume feature? i'm not adverse to unplugging a mic if i have to if you can tell me where it is.

There is evidently a microphone under the dome light: you disconnect it to disable the feature. . .There was a thread about this over on Fourtitude A3 forum.
