Help! Quick IPod integration question

The Grom is the best deal if you already have the tool and do not need the PIE harness, but if you do, the link I posted earlier looks like a better deal for much less hassle. Grom will tell you you can cut your existing CD changer connector, but that looks very difficult to do correctly and could easily screw up the whole thing.

The only link I could find was for the Blitzsafe adapter, not the Grom. Does your Grom adapter also have the 3.5mm Stereo Headphone jack along with the Ipod connector?
Does anyone know where the glove box CD changer cable would be located if it were in place? Should there be a plug or receptacle, or do I need to remove one of the punch-outs? I'm trying to determine which iPod integration unit to buy and which type of cable to order.
