With my trip computer, I can get about 450 miles out of my tank and it matches well with the distance readout that I reset every time i fuel up. The best I've gotten was about 380 miles out of my tank on pure highway driving.

Maybe we should all have a challenge. Terms are fuel up and top off. Reset distance readout. And see who can get the best and worst readout. Anyone game? I'm sure this would be a good incentive to drive ecnomically. The past 2 weeks I'm having trouble going easy on the throttle.

Oh, I'd be happy to dig deep and be the one with the worst mileage. I could never keep my right foot in check well enough to have the best mileage. We used to try and do this on the TDI forum and I could never take it easy for that long. But, a tank in the TDI would go 700-800 miles.
