RE: Opensky screens
Hi Drumdork,
When you say you tinted are talking OpenSky tinting or windows or both? If OpenSky how do they get up in there and tint the big pieces of glass? Do they pull the headliner?
Thanks,
BB
P.S. '08 Sline with Open Sky on order... :-) and in Arizona where it is hotter than the face of the sun....

Hello bbbobbb, I have an '06 with Open Sky, I have covered parking a work and maybe that bia's my opinion, I don't have a complaint about the the heat from the Open Sky. The only time the car is really hot, is from parking at the mall or any uncovered parking. Part of this heat is from everything being hot[:@], not just the Open Sky, imo.

RE: Opensky screens
I first found a reputable local company that could install without removing any panels (door or otherwise). I suppose it's all a matter of who does the work, but they had no problem laying the film on the underside of the glass panels while closed. They said it's a little tricky getting the squeegee between the sides above the retracted sunshade, but they also do lots of work on Audis.
I got 38% on the sides and back (35% max legal in NC) and 15% on both Open Sky panels. Works great for keeping out extra light and heat...even with black leather.
