Speedometer error??

Mine also has a small amount of error. When I display the speed on the digital screen, it tends to be about 2-3 MPH lower than on the gauge. That's at 80 MPH, so it's less than 3% variance.

Maybe Audi did this on purpose to save on our speeding tickets. This car definitely does not want to go slow!

What do you mean "display the speed on the digital screen".. how do you dothis?. I did read somwhere else a while ago about this but don't have any detail on it..What year,model are you driving?

I know mine will do it I have a 2007 S line. I just push the button on the side of the wiper arm.

From what I've read, it sounds like there is some discrepancy on which year/package will do this. I think on the '06s it depends on what package you have. It sounds like all '07s with the trip computer will do it. On your wiper arm you should have a Reset button on the bottom and an up/down rocker on the tip. On my '07, pressing (don't hold, just press) the Reset button will cycle through a digital readout of your speed, Trip Comp 1, and Trip Comp 2. If you have an '06 you may not have it. If your wiper arm doesn't have these buttons, you don't have it.
