TPE - How Stiff Are The KW's Factory Settings?
I am still waiting for mine to arrive[>:]
I have decided on the drop I want, but like to know how stiff the factory damper settingsare on the V2's? Stiffer than Sport/S-Line?
I know you have the V3's,but thoughtthe factory damper setting would be the same.
If you adjusted the damper, how much?

My tuner told me they are set on medium. As for stiffer than S-line, mmm, hard to say. There is certainly less body roll and squat with the KWs, but I honestly cannot detect any reduction in ride quality over the factory suspension. Even my wife did not notice. Also, I carry my two infant children in car seats on bumpy Taipei streets, and there has never been anything jarring or out of the ordinary. If they don't feel right, keep playing with them (or have a professional!) As I mentioned in another thread, I have a buddy who had KW V3s on his GTI and it didn't feel all that great. Took him to my tuner, they made the adjustments, and wow, different car altogether!
Once you get them, if you let me know the specific info you need, I can take them to my tuner and ask him what the settings are, I really am clueless unfortunately! They may also be different as I'm driving a TDI, so the weight is probably different.
As for the A3 + TT...yeah...I think that's the route I'm taking! Going to see if I can find a lightly used second hand one...and if I cannot...order a new one in August!
