Did you throw your stock dv out when you replaced it? I can't help you much, I'm just confused as to why you bought another stock dv.

 

Ill pm khj677turbo. In the mean time I will plug the the hose to the res. If it continues to throw codes I will install the new stock dv, and we can tackle this in Tallahassee when we get back.


My grandfather was watching me install the BOV, when I removed the stock dv I cut the vac line just abov the nipple b/c it was too hard to remove that small little clamp in that cramped space. Afterwards I handed it to him to look at. I turned my back and he had set to work trying to get that clamp off and broke the vac nipple off my old stock dv....Thats why I ordered a new one

yeah cause if air is rushing out of that hole, you would definitely be running rich and throwing a CEL. and if you need a stock dv, i could always mail you mine

 

Draw up a sketch of those hoses (using paint or someother basic program) so we can see what hose it is that has the whole.. there might be an easier alternative to plugging the whole

 

both ends of this house at the T are just sitting there open doing nothing.


Heres is a res that been pulled from a car, you can see a hole in the top... I don't know if mine has that hole and/or thats causing a problem too.

 

well, try plugging the bottom of the res t-fitting (the one by the bov in your digram, and connecting it at the top... , that way everything is either connected, or plugged off

I could plug both ends of the "T" because both are open.

But What would I connect the top too?

Also, dont go blaming something until you know exactly what is the cause behind something. The air is probably leaking out of the res and throwing the code, the pic above should correct that since the res is still in place.

 

hmm, I wonder if that hose will reach.....
