At worst you will need to buy a 25mm 90* water line fitting from the help section at the parts store. At most cost you about $5-6

but you still have the air in the res and where ever that hole in the res goes. He needs to close off the intake system and thats the easiest way.

been a while since I have seen the diagram of where the hoses go exactly.. but im going to go on a limb and say that your sucking air in after the MAF. So its unmetered and that is whats making your CEL go on.

I believe that hose does the job of diverting the air back into the system. Get rid of the res entirely.. and make sure you dont have any holes in the system.

Thats what i have been saying. I know i havent seen that res before and im guessing neither have you, but he needs to remove it like previously said since its redundent.

I had the res on mine but removed it.. it was just extra weight..

Then help the guy out. That is the only reason i can think of he gets a CEL. Dont know 100% if blocking the bottom of the T will work, but that res really needs removed
