Default 2001 a4 difference between various cam chain tensioners

I am looking on line and seeing different prices from around $100 to $400. One difference i see is one has a thing to plug in and the other does not, but I think that this might be that one comes with the part that plugs in, and the other is without it and you have to use your old one. Is this the case? Or are they two distinctly different parts?

If it is the same part, but you need to reuse the plug in portion, is there a problem with reusing. What does the plug in portion do?

My problem is that the oil pressure is a little low and I think the tensioner is a little worn, so it knocks when the temp gets high and the oil gets thin.

The oil pressure is still within specs, so I think it is a worn tensioner. If I get the cheaper and reuse the plug in section, will this still have low pressure, or is the portion you buy new something that does not get worn out?

Also, is it a case of you get what you pay for, and the more expensive one is jut much better than the cheap one. I do not know which companies the various ones are. What is the oem? Do I want to go with the oem or is that just made in the same chinese factory?

ANy help would be appreciated.

Can you give links to the different CCTs? It'll help in answering your question.
