does anyone know how to get to the bottom of the windshield washer resivior where the pump is located? i think my pump went out but i am unable to figure out why the headlight sprayers still don't work and i can't get to where the pump is located....the only way i know how to is take off the driver side fender...????

 

I have a 2002 1.8t as well. I thought my pump was broke turned out it was just a fuse, check the fuse before you start anything.

 

There is a tech bulliten on this issue and it says to replace the pump and insert a 30 amp fuse

You also need to put a little splash shield on the pump to pevent water from destroying it again

You can access the pump from under the car

When you get the new pump there will be a different male connector on it just take it to the grinding wheel
