I need some information. Yesterday, I leave my office my A4 started just fine. I arrive to pick up my baby, wasn't inside, but 15 minutes go start my car it won't turn over. I call the Dealership they say maybe it's the battery ( I couldn't see how since it was replaced 6 months ago) I get a jump start, drive to my house about 5 minutes away. I waited a couple hours started my car and it's like nothing even happened. This morning I go to start my car it starts just fine, drop my baby off at Grandma's car starts just fine. Get to the office no issues, call the Dealership they say maybe a bad cell in the battery. About 4 hours later start my car to take it to the Dealership starts just fine. Get to the Dealership tested the battery nothing wrong with it, tested just fine. They hooked it up to the machine to see if there was any malfunctions or defaults on any of the systems. No defaults. The Service Manager and 3 mechanic's are stumped. It's not the starter, because there was no clicking noise it turned over it just didn't idle. When I had my car jump started it took 3 times of turning the key until it finally cranked over. Dealership says it couldn't be the alternator because there are no default lights on the dash nor did it come up on the machine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Mines a 2006 2.0t Quattro auto and it won't turn at all

 

Check your ground wire on the motor. But it could be many things that are easily found once you get a malfunction.
