Default 60,000 Mile Work

Well, I'm at that point have an 04 A4 1.8 T 6spd quatro, andhad the car in at 50,000 to be checked for all items still under warranty at that moment in time.

Bringing the car in for the 60,000 mile maintenance soon and am torn between the dealer and a regular garage. I assume at this point I should bring my car to a garage unless I think I have a warranty issue.

What should I expect to spend on the 60,000 maintenance and what are the must dos <vs> the potentials?

Thanks for the input.

Add DOT4 brake fluid as needed. The indicator for
low fluid and worn front pads is the same.

First of all, the factory warranty ends at 50k. If you bought your A4 at an Audi dealer, it comes with a CPO extended warranty to 100k. If your A4 is a CPO, I'd suggest taking it to the dealer & have them do the work. If not, just have your local euro shop do the work.

on my 04 a4, low front pads is indicated on the MFA display.. the low fluid indicator is a blinking brake light (like handbrake is on) ive had both

i would DIY!

Oil and filter $40
air filter $16.95
fuel filter $40-50
cabin filter if u really care $?
hitachi E coilpacks or new R coilpacks (just so u dont have to worry or keep some spares) $100-125
new spark plugs $50
brake fluid flush.....$50 if u pay someone. maybe more?

purems.com has much cheaper prices than ecs but i like ecs hitachi E coilpack set... it includes bolts and gaskets....

then do a thorough inspection of vaccum and boost lines, CV boots and valve cover gasket/cam tensioner gasket and rear coolant flange.... all those things are known to be prone to go between 60-100k...doesnt mean they will but check it out
