I just don't like how the aftermarket head unit looks when it's in the center.
Plus, the aftermarket head unit will ruin the "red" look of the dash.

Again, never had any experience with keys but some people have bought uncut keys from ebay and take them to the dealer.
However, I heard that not all dealerships have the machine for it so they might have to send it off to some other dealerships.
Anyone with experience can fill them in on this?

From what I've gathered, and I could be wrong, there really isn't anything special about the 96 keys, you can copy them anywhere. The keyless fob is pretty simple, just a lock, unlock key, and you need two keys to program it. I'm ordering one, I'll just find out the hard way if it works or not.

yes the 96 were prewired for a cd changer and get this, a phone. looking at the trunk, remove the left side trunk lining and feel around you should feel a set of wires, pull them out, one will look like a printer cable, that for the phone, and other will be for the cd changer, as long as its an audi unit it direct plug and then you have to find a place to stash it.

Thanks SAudi, followed your directions and they were there. Definately in the market for the changer now.
I've been thinking of the keyless entry, and I might not go with the factory fob. Cheapest I can find is 90 bucks each, and I need two of them. For not much more I could have aftermarket put in, with remote start. Think I'd be farther ahead doing the latter.
