Whats up im new to the site but i was wondering if anybody knew if i could interchange the searts on my 97 audi a4 i have cloth seats and there are many junk yards around here with leather searts from vw's and Audi a6's i really want the leather because almost everything in my car is Rs4 spec and all i need is some seats leatehr or s4 seats if anybody can help me out that would be great thanks..

You should be able to interchange the A4 seats. Some slight fabrication might be necessary but its totally doable. For the leather seats with auto levers your gonna have to change the wire harness connections for them to work. Junkyards should have them, if you can't find them there try shokan.com

 

You can also replace your seat skins with leather seat skins, might be just as cheap only new.

 

yeha but i seen a 98 passat at the junk yard with seats nice seats they look similar to my seats and in my haynes rtepair manual it covers the 98-2001 passat and 96-2001 audi .. in the book removing the seats are the same so could i put the passat seats in my audi.
