I drive my A4 with it set to 65*f and only 1 bar up on the power-level, with the windows open.

Keeps your feet and hands cool while keeping the HP reduction to a minimal.

yeah, no doubt at all that A/C OFF (or ECON enabled) is the way to go....honestly for me it transforms the wave of acceleration...it's much much more linear and so much more responsive (also because it's chipped).

I dread to think of how a stock 150 1.8t with A/C on performs..it probably dosn't!

Hey zat0rsk1, thanks man!...

but I really have to tell that i been having a lot of bad luck lately (cv joint, turbo leak, abs problem, a new electric short causing a lot of things not to work including the ac, and some other stuff goin on bad). So, right now, the biggest problem is all the money that i need to fix all of that.

lmao, well I have the 2.8 since its a v6 it has an easier time dealing with the ac. I feel almost no power loss, well unless I'm REALLY trying to go fast on the highway. Just want to add that I never have it on unless I'm in stop and go and its huge heat, or parents or girls bitching about it while there in the car lol. Also if you don't think its hot in Canada, wow it was 43* celcius and with the humidity it was over 55*. So thats about..... exactly 131* Farenheit! So yeah in Canada it goes from on average -40*C(40* F) to 40*C(104* F) in the winter/summer, craziest temp spread I've ever seen.

aaanyways yeah thats probably where the 2.8 wins over the 1.8, with the ac on lol. I am getting a set of Unorthodox Pullies soon though, and that should make it even lesser of a draw.

hey man , your ride is sweet , i wouldnt mind spendin some $$ to fix it up. Only thing is , how much $$ are you looking at. And im sorry to hear you got all this stuff happening. I had a car like that once, it was nothing but a headache. Talk to a friend that know somewhat about cars or talk to people on here. Is it worth fixing ? ask questions liek that, Best of luck to you man , and that red color looks evil man with them black rims.
